Smokey atmosphere: "I think the music is what makes the smoke stand still" Mayonnaise is as much a DJ as he is a musical decorator. His album, even though he grasps all the ingredients of turntablism, sounds different. No more coherence, stranger scratches, and always these low guitar samples… It's kind of high and then suddenly groovy on 'Wizard Unrobed'.. As you get out of the couch you knock down your ashtray but you don't care…And then a well-known excerpt (Jackie Brown) and the music goes on. Sounds a lot like Shadow sometimes ("Ozzy Rules"). Oh well...
